From a small town in Tennessee, born and raised a southern gentleman, Curtis Caldwell has a gentle and charismatic charm that has made him one of the most sought after wedding photographers in New England. He began his professional career as a photographer while in the military at the age of twenty-one. With over 30 years of experience, he has become an expert in his field. Curtis brings a passion for creativity and excellence that stems from his career in the United States Air Force and Navy.
After his military service, Curtis obtained a degree in Electronics Engineering and a certificate in Computer Technology. He has worked in the electronics and computer industry for over twenty-five years. This education and work experience has enabled Curtis to fully understand the technical aspects of posing and light composition, and how to use them to create stunning portraits.
Curtis continues to pursue his passion for portrait and wedding photography by attending seminars and studying with local and nationally known photographers. He has worked side by side and trained some of the best photographers in the area today. He is a member of the Professional Photographers Association (PPA), Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI), New England Wedding Professionals (NEWP), and other professional photography associations.
He specializes in a photojournalistic and documentary approach to wedding photography. His belief is that when you look at your wedding photographs, the images should capture the emotion and essence of the occasion. They should tell the story of two people celebrating one of the most important events of their lives, shared with family and friends. The images should be precious moments captured in time for all to see.
His goal is to capture traditional, photojournalistic, illustrative, and creative images that will document your story and truly reflect the vision of your Wedding Day.
